Weekend could cuz way more trashes than a normal school day, compare to yesterday's today I just added a plastic bottle and a piece of paper, also tissues for sure.
In my trash, papers and tissues are the the most likely items as daily trash.  Tissues are sth I could not do anything about it because I am having a cold, but as for the papers, I think I could re-use it since Im using only one side of it.
Also, I could avoid using the plastic battles, decrease the total amount of ordering foods would help on that part.
According to the trash which produced in the weekend, I have a big amount of water battles in the trash which are really hard to recycle. The way to change this bad habit is to carry a non-plastic water battle around me everyday, that way I would not use any plastic battles because I have my own water battles to use.

Apple core: 1 to 2 months or longer, due to lack of microbes
Paper Bag: 1 month
Cardboard: 2 months
Tin Can: 50 years
Aluminum Can: 80-200 years (if recycled, it can be reused within 6 weeks)
Disposable Diapers: 550 years
Plastic Bags: up to hundreds of years (newer plastic bags can photo-degrade but most aren't exposed to sunlight in a landfill)
Plastic drinking bottles: hundreds of years (they consist of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) which is made from petroleum that doesn’t break down)
Plastic milk jug: 500 years
Glass: 1-2 million years (but if recycled, it can be reused within 6 weeks)
Styrofoam: never (no sign of ever breaking down)

For my trash, it would take up to hundreds years.

Burning trash could bring us a lot of health concerns, for exps,in the smoke which produced by it there are a lot of poisoned gases inside of it which could threat of health.

Just 2 to 40 household burn barrels emit many of the most dangerous  toxins at the same level as emitted from a 200-ton per day incinerator acility that serves 20,000 households.

Battery is sth that has to both decrease and increase waste.  Because it made the working hours of machine longer, at the same time, it causes a big amount of electric waste.

How could the corporations be encouraged to use more environmentally- friendly packaging is really depend on how much are they going to be benefit from it.  Government should publish some policies like if the companies approach environmental friendly material, it could get certain percentages of free taxes.

No, Because according to the amount of waste and greenhouse gas that are produced by the U,S, the only thing could be shown in the stats is that the amount of trash is produced is increasing and the U.S government did not really do anything about it.  Therefore, I do not this U.S. culture are conducive to environmentally irresponsible patterns of behavior.
